When Anime Worlds Collide pt.3

Chapter 3
The Portal in the Sky

"How do you know this?" Len asked in awe. "What it's saying?"

"Born with the talent, I guess," I replied. "But that doesn't matter! Where did you see them, Surskit?"

"Surskit Sur Surskit!" it said. It pointed up with one of its four legs. Then the little Pokémon paused for a bit. All of a sudden, it jumped off of Len's head and started skimming the water in the river frantically.

"What's wrong!? You okay?" Len asked in panic.

"It said the sky. It said something like, 'There was a circular grid! Then wind! Then boom!' but it must not see it anymore!" Then I paused.

A circular grid! Just like the portal I saw in my dream! I started to worry. Maybe May and the gang...

"What is it, Max-Bozu?" Len inquired.

"The circular grid it just talked about right now! I saw it in my dream! It was like this portal with a grid design!"

Len's eyes grew wide. "Do you know where the portal was? Tell all you know!"

I sighed. "The only thing I know is that it was in the sky above a breathtaking view..."

"If you don't know, check on that digital-map-thingy or whatever it's called!"

My face grew hot. How could I forget to check on the PokéNav!? I quickly pulled it out again and the screen displayed a purple spot.

"That has to be it," I said.

"But how can it be!? You said they couldn't have gone east!" Len exclaimed.

"True, but they could've gone up and then east," I replied, looking up at the sky.

"How? This may be a world where a lot happens but gravity all the same!"

"If you were paying attention while I was translating what Surskit said for you, it spoke of winds."

"Oh, right." Len sweatdropped. "But how do we get in the sky!?"

I clenched my fists behind my back from the tension. "Wait for it..."

Suddenly a shadow appeared out of nowhere, and a Pokémon followed. It was the Altaria that I saw in my dream.

"Hi Altaria..." I slowly approached it.

"Max-Bozu, I don't know if it's safe," Len called after me.

"Don't worry, I saw this Pokémon in my dream too."

I finally got close enough to pat the Altaria's head. It let me, and I knew trust was the key-and the advantage. Surskit and Altaria could help, I knew it.
