Stranded - Prologue

Prologue
A Storm at Sea

It was a starry night. Two Vocaloids, a young sensei and a shota of around 14 or 16 were drifting along on the ocean in a small rowboat. The younger of the two peered over the side of the boat, captivated by the reflections of the stars. Though abruptly, the reflections disappeared.

"Eh?" the young singer said in question.

The shota looked up to see that clouds had taken place of the stars. Just as suddenly as the clouds had appeared, the sound of a crashing wave came from behind the boat.

"And here I was, thinking things were about to get better," the sensei said, looking at the wave over his shoulder. The shota started to panic.

"What are we gonna do, Kiyoteru-sensei?" he said with a note of worry in his voice.

"I...I don't really know..." the sensei called Kiyoteru replied. Although he tried to hide the panic he was starting to feel, so as not to make the shota, who was named Len, worry more, it did sink into his voice a bit.

The wave was apporaching faster and faster by the second, and before the two of them could say anything else, it overtook the small boat. Both of the Vocaloids had fallen unconscious from the blow.

The storm had passed after a few minutes, though Len could be heard muttering, "System overload...system overload..." as they drifted off in a westward direction.
